From the summary of Ebba Bertilsson’s article “The Striving for Better Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.”
The use of the sensor-based support tool CPR Guide affects the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) compressions performed by firefighters by significantly improving the overall results and the number of compressions delivered at the correct rate. By making sensor-based tools available to firefighters as well as the general public, this could potentially contribute to a greater sense of competence and confidence, and thus, hopefully, encourage more people to perform CPR in emergency situations where medical personnel are not present.
